my level of excitment has reached that of 2002

finally something to be excited about again! festivals, new pics/interviews, and new songs galore!! i love it. it feels like 2002 again, although this time i think there is one big difference....CD is coming! and it will own us all!!!! hopefully Axl will get his ass in the States ASAP for a tour. cant wait to see them again. I think I'm actually more excited now than I was in 2002 because it actually seems possible this time that CD is nearing a release. In 2002, Axl himself was saying that the cd was not finished, but we have been hearing reports (given that they are just rumors) that the cd is done and ready for a release. For the first time, I'm actually expecting an announcement very "soon" about a release date and by soon I mean in the next few days. That's something I've never expected before and I've been on these boards since the days of gnronline back in 1999.

That being said, I think this might be the last go around for me. If it all falls apart again this time and we are sitting here at the end of the summer with nothing, I think I'll have to join those who have decided that CD is never going to happen. I never thought I'd say that, but you can only screw someone around so many times before they learn their lesson.

when axl screamed "DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE" at nationwide arena in columbus ohio in 2002, i realized that all my years in waiting had paid off and i was about to see my hero peform. i don't think anything could top that feeling ...unless he comes back to the states and i see him again (and it looks like its gonna turn out that way)
