Do you have a source?
Or was it on the TV or something?

Wonder which source MTV used. Usually they are quite reliable when it comes to release dates, but maybe they got it off the internet like a lot of others. I'll keep an eye on their website so see if anything comes up, but till a release date is actually CONFIRMED I wouldn't write it in my agenda. Do think it will be soon though, but I thought that before!

Yes guys it was on MTV NEWS Latinamerica, they said after a decade of fights, lawsuits and many many other problems the album is ready for a March release. THey also mentioned they used over 60 guitars on the album. I have no idea why they said that.

I CAN'T believe that they plan on releasing another GH so close to CD coming out. ?Think about it, you can buy a second Greatest Hits with songs that most people won't know because all the hits were on GH1, or wait a couple months and buy one of the most anticipated albums of all time.
If most people would only buy one album, they'd definetly buy CD. ?The only way that GH2 is going to sell if it's got the new band playing the songs, and if they change up the songs a fair bit.

that actually makes sense.
they closed the old gnr chapter with the first GH, and open a new chapter with GH 2 played by the new band.
if so, i'm definetely gonna buy it

^ Well, then I do hope GH2 will be played by the new band. Just re-hashing the old stuff is not something I look forward to. If GH2 is indeed the new lineup playing their take on the old songs I will buy it. But I have this pessimist feeling that Gh2 will be just another GH album with the left-overs from Gh1...

If they do release GH2 with the new band, they're going to have alot of explaining to do to old fans cause alot of them will be pissed off and won't give them a fair listen....
(I actually would love to hear this)
Hopefully it won't be a 'hits' thing, but more of a Best Of thing...
That way they can get alot of the better songs....
