Not at all.

I think it was already a mistake in 1992

Let's tour with a Rock band (Red Hot, Oasis etc...), not a Metal band.

GNR ain't Metal.

Yeah i caught that tour in the US back in the day and Metallica fucking blew Guns away as much as i hate to admit it. P
Nu-G'n'R aren't proven enough yet to headline over Metallica on a joint tour though. Plus i heard Lars n James think it's become a joke now like most big bands that remember Guns 'n' Roses in their heyday, so it'll never happen.

Who the fuck are James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich anyways??

If some pop crap like Oasis was playing with GNR, it'd be so much fun to through anything and everything at them to get them off stage. Just like green Day at Woodstock in '94. Turned into Mudstock for those guys. Keep pop away from rock concerts.

Metallica and GNR, not happening. Different nights at a festival is a different story and does not qualify as sharing the same bill, IMO.

Two bands that used to be awesome but now suck.. No thanks...

Interesting how you came out of the VR forum just to spew some hatred. Thanks for that...now....back you go.....we will leave some kibble by the door before we turn out the light.

No way I'm going to a damn stadium show after being 15 feet from Axl at Hammerstein.

They are still my two favorite bands and it was my dream come true and a magical night at Giants Stadium when I was 21.

And four songs on St. Anger were the best tunes Metallica have put out since AJFA in '89.

Do you think Axl will run into the guys in Metallica?? Just imagine GNR/Metallica Tour 14 years later.. Although, I dont think Axl would go on first for a second!!

I doubt Metallica would do anything with Axl after the last tour

Be cool if Metallica was playing to support a "best of" disc......anything after the black album pretty much blows.

Would be a cool show though, two "older" bands that can still rock the shit out of any band today.  Fans of both bands (I'm guessing there is a lot of cross over appeal there) would sell out EVERY show too.  But I wonder if the egos would be too big and if the past would come back to haunt them......
