Do you think Axl will run into the guys in Metallica?? Just imagine GNR/Metallica Tour 14 years later.. Although, I dont think Axl would go on first for a second!!

Nor should he.. me i wouldn't want them to tour with Metallica, GNR and an up n coming new band is fine for me - it should be the GNR show, no distractions.

It would give new-gnr haters reason to go... especially older fans

Not at all.

I like Metallica but I feel it will bring the whole GN'R comeback concept down a couple of notches. Metallica's last album was ordinary and I don't want GN'R associated with aging rock mediocracy. That's how I feel the tour would be seen as.

And GNRs last album was 13 cover songs, in 93... With 2 current members.. Do i have to go on?? Metallica could only lead to good things

The fact that it has been 13 years and the album years in making only increases the hype. I like Metallica, they have a good catalogue of songs for a fucking good setlist and would love to see it, but I'd prefer GN'R not to tour with them.

The fact that slash, duff, etc arent around anyomre turns ALOT of poeple off, who have no hype.. Among those, who love metallica from way back

Of corse. But I wouldnt want a tour together.. just a show or two

I'd rather see GN'R with another band..

And.. gnr SHOULD tour with another band.. at least for a little bit.

It wouldn't be worth it for Guns to hook up with Metallica, except in Philly.  Philly is still hostile toward them and it may provide a comfort zone to the fans to know that they'd see at least one band that night..

At the upcoming festivals it doesn't look like they'll be playing on the same night, but I guess it could happen.

and metallica's last GOOD album was in 91 with 3 current members so it's not that much of a difference    hihi j/k

I see Alice In Chains is booked for this festival.  Now that would be the most bad ass tour:  Guns N' Roses & Alice In Chains!

i think that gnr has earned their spot as a headliner long ago and they should not be an opening act for metallica. that would be wrong.
and that would never happen cos they don't play on the same night.

If Axl releases a single and an album this year and then decides to open for metallica, he deserves to be lynched.

i hate metallica but guns doing a show with them would cause a publicity that no one would want to be without.
