On the Bucketboard over at bucketheadland.com they refuse to post anything related to GnR.

It's been like that for a while, don't know why.

Maybe Since the site started? That board is for nonGNR topics from the start, innit?
The site use to have another board exclusive to gnr related massages before the RIR cancellation letter.
Actually it's still there and not working, I think. Weird. Cheesy

Sadly it seems that not every GNR fan is a music fan. Sad

I love BHs appearance, for instance... Tongue

Well you only have to listen to the new leaks to hear that Buckethead's parts are on there. I don't mind him being in the band, but after what Axl said about him in his MTV statement 2004 it doesn't look like Axl favours him but things could have changed significantly. ?ok

Buckethead works with other bands, forum users post messages about these other bands, and the mods allow these posts to appear. Post a message that has the words guns and roses in, and the message will not appear. Simple.

The leaks are one thing, Bucket staying on the finished album is another. I sure hope he does remain on the finished CD project  ok

There's a lot of stuff on the site to be found if you dig deep enough... ?Wink

And yes, there were two boards, one for GN'R, one for Buckethead's other works.

I don't think it has to do with Buckethead not wanting to be associated with GN'R, but maybe it was because of the quality of the discussion as many on the Bucketboard are musicians, guitarists, technical freaks, guitar geeks. Those folks just don't get much out of "who's better - Slash or Buckethead" or "what does Buckethead look like behind the mask" stuff. And to avoid that I think they seperated the board into two sections. I guess, not knowing, just my impression.

There is also a bit of elitism there as well.

Do you have any type of semi-official source for this info or are you just stating your opinion?
