Yeah. We've been waiting long enough. It's time to celebrate a release.
I hope I didn't jinx it.

SG I don't think you have to beg axl to come to The UK, I'm pretty sure if he's playing european dates he will be there

Axl must have learned from his last experience you dont tour without an album
I predict we will have it by June.

Merck said Axl is confident that the album is coming out this year.

slane is too late in the year unfortunately. id be surprised if theyre still in europe by that stage.
a shame. i love them for them to drop by ireland but id doubt it. best bet for us is probably download or maybe a few dates in britain.
and about slane - they'd sell it out. it doesnt matter who plays it, it sells out. last i heard pearl jam were topping the bill. sounds pretty ridiculous, but slane will sell out even with them as headliners (though they wont be playing large festivals after their roskilde).
and i dont know if it is all leading to the album. i think thats the plan, as it probably was in 2002, but you know...

at the end of the day, it looks good.
it ran out of steam the last time due to no new albmun, it s hard to see what has changed since. an albmun with a tour will work. if the quality of better is anything to go buy, irs sounds a lot better than the previous versions aswell.
they would fill slane, there was a petition for ACDC last year.
lord henry mounbatten said that the Guns concert of 1992 was the best hes enjoyed, so you never know

yea, but still. you gotta be realistic about irish concerts (or else id probably lose it completely). slane is late summer, august/september time yeah?
and secondly, irish concert promoters, particularly those in charge of slane, are very conservative and i doubt they would risk a one day show on the 'current' form of axl.
id love to see them here (i mean, i would give one of my nuts and maybe even both amongst other things for an easily accesible gnr show) - maybe marley park. whens lansdowne go under redevelopment? - they could do the shows that the pixies did last summer.
if they do a uk arena tour (though they wont), it would be a hard pill to swallow if they didnt jump over to the point or the odessey.
