The band had 8 guys when they recorded these songs. Where are they? Unfortunately I don't hear why they had 3 guitarists, 2 keyboard players (and arrangements from Beltrami etc.) So the question is: who hears 8 guys in these songs?

(This topic is not about liking or disliking this song or that)

there doesn't need to be 8 guys at every song wouldn't you agree? there's your answer kinda.

You expect to hear three guitar players soloing on each track?

Dizzy was in the band when they recorded Use Your Illusion I and II, yet he's not featured on every track.

I don't expect them playing solo, but there aren't too much guitar playing in the songs at all.

BTW I don't miss Dizzy in any UYI track Tongue

I just don't understand why have 3 guitarist and 2 keyboard players when you don't need them. You can't find the mentioned 'powerful guitar playing' neither in these tracks nor in the other ones (Madagascar, Blues, Riyadh, Silkworms, CD) ?

I see what you're saying in your post, and pretty much agree with it. But there is superb guitars on The Blues, and even though I dont like Riyadh much, the music is pretty fucking good, and the band suffers from no weakness on that song. It does seem like a few people didnt show up to the studio to record these latest demos. hihi

Jarmo, davegnr2k made a good point about the shorter TWAT. It has no BH solo, so was likely recorded before he joined, and that would mean no Fortus either. So on that song, it would be Finck and Huge.

I think they had 3 players. BH and Robin plays on these tracks and when they both were in, they had 3 players.

BTW I can hardly hear 2 guitars at the same time...

After listening to TWAT I don't agree with you... Definitely there are 3 guitars there along with all other players (even strings), except for the bass, which I can?t hear in any of the new demos.

I agree ok but the drums are def a machine and the orchestra is just simple computer stuff in the back.

This shit is gonna sound wayyy different on the album, hell we may not even recognize the songs when the album is released

A famous three guitar band was Lynyrd Skynyrd.  On there stuff you here three guitars pretty much all the time.  They were awesome on how they incorporated everyone into the song.  They had a keyboard player to that was very involved.  These guys are no Lynyrd Skynrd as far as a triple guitar threat goes.  But they are still great songs.
