haha, i didn?t mean to be rude..
It's cool.
But i?m pretty sure that when you wrote the lyrics..You had a vision of a 9 minute - rock-calssic-maraton-tune...
I believe that it's obvious to anyone. I never said that I'm not inspired by GN'R...
In fact, on the very first page of this thread, in one of my replies, I'm saying that it is actually inspired from Nov. Rain AND Estranged.
So, you can't say I didn't warn you...
And i hope the song is about someone else than Axl ? it?s dedicated to Axl...but to write a song about a guy you have only seen on TV ( or concert) That?s..not real
If you read the thread from the beginning you'll see that I wrote the song about me.
It's just that in the end it became a song that I felt like dedicating to Axl cause there were parts in the song that were inspired by him.
I am a huge GN'R fan.
When you write a song it doesn't always have to be about you. I've written songs based on a friend's experience. This particular song, I began writing for me. It took me about a year and a half to finish it, maybe 2, I don't exactly remember.
In the proccess I found myself writing and adding lyrics in the song that were inspired by what I've known about Axl.
Plus the fact that at that particular point, and after a very painful break-up, his lyrics had just saved my life. I'm still here cause of his lyrics.
That's why you'll never see me whining about anything. Yeah, I've been waiting for the album since 1993, yeah I'm diyng to watch a new GN'R video, yeah I'm diyng to listen to the new record. BUT I'll never tell the guy to fuck off if March 6th is not the date. Or if he cancels a gig on me. I'm 29 years old, and instead of having died in 2001, I'm still here, enjoying life to the fullest, going around the world watching GN'R live, making new friends, loving someone I never would have met if it wasn't for Axl's lyrics.
It's not obsession. It's a simple thank you for being a part of and saving my life with his lyrics. I'm not in love with the guy, I'm not obsessed with him. I won't stalk him to get an autograph. I had a chance and I never asked for one. I didn't feel like it. All I could tell him was "THANK YOU".
I love his art and I'm thankful for it.
So yes, this is a song I started writing about me but was also inspired by and dedicated to W. Axl Rose.
Actually, it's just lyrics, but hopefully, soon it will be a song.
I tried my best, with all the English I know.
So, it might not be genius like you said (which I never claimed to be) but it's the best of me, at that particular point in time.
