Buckethead killed the chemistry of the new line up. The band wasn't a "band" with him.

Every time you hear someone say Buckethead's just a shredder and doesn't have any feeling in his songs, it's a pretty good indicator that person doesn't know what they're talking about
Thank you.
Has anyone heard Colma?
I love my parents is one of the most moving songs I have ever heard.

yeah i have most of bucket`s solo efforts. i don`t thinkthe music is that great, but it`s good enough to see that he`s an amazing guitarist with lots of potential..... the gnr demos proove that
I like Bucket's work in GnR so far but I think Bucket made the name for himself before uncle axl brought him on board.
yeah i know that..... but i think his work on the new demos is simply amazing and better than anything he did before.. that`s just my opinion anyway...

I think the Buckethead question is the 2nd biggest question behind the release date. ?I can't think of any possible replacements to Buckethead if Axl does keep his contributions to CD. ?I was always wishing someone like John5 would replace him.

very true, but you do know a good deal of people only follow other's feelings and don't actually listen to the songs they claim to not like..
I took the day once to download tons of BH stuff off limewire and enjoyed a great deal of his music

I can't imagine him coming back... But I can't imagine some of these songs without him - I really can't see Fink and Fortus pulling off these solos...

I think there's a chance he will.
I'm surprised there's been no replacement guitarist.
Look at the TWAT solo - no one could play that like Buckethead.

Well you know, the Red Capt. did allow Mr. Buckethead to return once before.
Axl can be forgiving but I expect a surprise announcement soon regarding Buckets
replacement, if there going to be a replacement at all.
r ob in & fortus should be able to handle all the axe work themselves.
Let us not forget that the Red Capt. also allowed Finck to rejoin the fold on
one or two occasions...

If your a guitar player and you picked up the
Jan. 2006 issue of Guitar One you'll see a
CD-Rom was included:
To "watch" Bucket play his bits is amazing. ?He makes it look
effortless.
It can be discouraging for any any aspiring guitarist, yet
very inspiring at the same time.

I went to Buckethead last night in Portland, and I must say, he is by far the most talented guitar player I have ever seen. ?
Different?
? Yes, but still one of the best. ?
Through out the night, I couldn't help but compare two of GNR's guitar players. ?On the comparison between Slash and Buckethead-
Now I know a lot of you have come to love Slash, and don't get me wrong. ?Slash is a great guitar player, and he was the right fit with Axl. ?Slash was there when GNR became huge, and he added a lot to the music. ?It's understandable why people give Slash so much credit. ?It is much deserved. ?However, Buckethead in my opinion, is hands down ahead of time. ?Watching Buckethead I felt like he could do anything up there. ?He is an incredible talent and now I understand why Axl picked him to replace such a great guitar player in Slash. ?Buckethead may not have been the right fit for GNR, but would have (and may already have) helped GNR a great deal. ?

I think the last solo in TWAT is the best work we have heard yet from the Bucket.

He should change his name to "the artist formerly known as Buckethead" or call himself. "The Bucket" and come back. The new songs don't seem like they could be the same without his solos.
