It's been four years since the "tour". I would think they should change the logo. I'd like to see actual guns or roses incorporated into the design, the star never really did it for me. That star is nothing but bad luck, heck the U.S.S.R. collapsed under the red star.

sorry to nitpick but was their symbol not the crossed sycle (sp) and hammer. the red star is just a generic socialist symbol. |

Ya, but I meant since the star was everywhere. That was just their flag, they had stars everywhere else, on top of buildings, etc....

Just bringing up a point that it was bad luck for GN'R: the soviets were just a historical thing I brought up. That star doesn't really say "Guns N' Roses". It was outdated right from the start, I'm surprised Rage Against the Machine didn't sue.

I always liked the look of the star logo and liked the fact that Axl was changing the logo from the old one. But I felt that the star logo and all the chinese writing on stage etc. had a limited life cycle after Chinese Democracy was released. So a change to a logo that would be suitable for the long run (however long that might be) of the new gnr would be preferable. Bring back a logo that incorporates guns and roses like the old one did I say.
