I bought 1 copy for me and decided to buy 2 more ones as a X-Mas present for my twin nephews who also turn 11 years of age on the 24th, december.

In the last few months they begun to get into music a little but i unfortunately had to notice that Britney , 50 fucking Cent and some german Hip Hop cunts
( SIDO and BUSHIDO ) are spinning in their CD players  Roll Eyes

Well i had to do something about it and now they will get real music for X-Mas / Birthday

"Alright boys, gather 'round.  You're both 11 years old now, I have decided to give you both, Prostitute."

"Uncle MeanMachine, this is the greatest Christmas ever!"
 hihi

Seriously, great shit.  My 5 year old just asked me this morning what the name of track 14 was.  Without hesitation, I said, "Prostitute."  (no, he didn't ask for any elaboration/definition...thankfully!  hihi)

Honestly unless you were planning on buying CD as a present for someone why would you buy more than one copy?

Its a CD...a very good one and one that all of us waited a long time for, but the concept of buying more than 1 CD per person is bizarre and scary.....and a tad embarrassing.

I believe the quote is ' live your life'

Im personally feeling very ripped off that the TRUE booklet will be released after we all went out ....supported the band and cashed out on a fake . Why should I but a new CD for this??  I want the genuine article as its meant to be........talk about 'rippin of the kids'

Can someone explain the difference in all of us hardcore GNR fans spending our hard earned cash buying CD to get a booklet with shit artwork and dodgy lyrics....only then to have to shell out weeks after for the real deal.....

AND

Dr Pepper's promotion?Huh

Both were bungled....cept Dr Pepper costs the GNR nothing except a free drink..........The artwork thing costs any hardcore GNR fan at least 1 possibly 2 more copies of CD (and excuse me it will contain the same music I believe)

How is it that GNR who bungled theyre own CD that costs $20 per copy that they had 15 yrs to get right and that they KNOW a huge % will RE-PURCHASE a 2nd or 3rd copy with GENUINE lyrics and a different cover....can SUE a soft drink company over a bungled promo offering a drink worth $1.

Is it me....am I alone here in seeing a comical irony??
Its either  comical miscommunication/laziness  or a case of filthy lucre/lack of integrity.

I've heard of people buying multiple copies of CD's (not just Chinese Democracy) so they can have one in their car, home, workplace, second home, what have you.  Not saying I agree with it either, but it's nothing new.

The irony is that you're commenting on something that didn't happen. GN'R did not sue Dr Pepper.

I just bought 5 more,(total of 30). They are having a TWILIGHT convention in Rosemont with some of the stars from the movie. I am going to give them copies of the CD and tell them to listen to THIS I LOVE! The TWILIGHT sequel NEW MOON starts filming in March. I still think TIL is OSCAR worthy!

I have a friend that posts on some message board about Twilight. She said someone had "Riad" listed as what they were listening to at the moment. I thought that was kinda cool

Right, well cool if you did....  hihi

I bought 1 from HMV the day it was released, I almost bought the ?50 box set one last week, cause I really would've liked the T-shirt.

So really at most, before a re-lease/special edition, the most I'll have bought is 2. Don't have the cash to fork out for a double figured copy collection.

Some of u who have bought 40 and 20
Id love to see a pic of that

not doubting u or anything

but did u put 40 in a buggy and wheel it to the register?

Thats like almost 500 bucks!

Here you go:

And you're right, after taxes it came to just over $500. You'd be surprised, but 40 copies fit nicely into a little hand basket (Best Buy has them at the front of their store). They also all fit into one large plastic bag (which kind of surprised me as well).

WOW  that would be one awesome fuckin avatar
