How many copies of Chinese Democracy will you buy / did you pre-order?

I've been thinking about that pre-order thing. I believe I may pre-order all 3 vinyl and then just buy the 3 CDs when I get to Best Buy on release day. That way I'm assured of getting both.

I can just do 2-day shipping or something so I get the vinyl up on the basement wall ASAP.

The fact they've actually appeared on best buy's site has to be taken as a good sign, at this point.

I think I might do the same...I want to do the "in store" thing for at least ONE copy of the CD and I don't want to find myself "stuck" on which cover I "need".  And yes, I'm going to buy all 3 variants.

Agreed. I was originally thinking 2 copies; 1 CD, 1 vinyl (if available) but in light of recent developments, it looks like I'm up to 6.

This is awesome!!  Like ive said before im buying 2 of every version there is...one to open and one to leave sealed...i dont care if im dropping over 100 dollars at this point...

 Your credit card will not be charged until we ship the item(s) to you.

So I guess it doesn't actually charge until the date of shipment.  Personally, I pretend the money is gone the moment I hit "Place order"

Nope.

You'd have to preorder it IN store to do that (if you can, at this point...which I don't think you can...at least not yet).

You weren't able to do it yesterday, I know that.  I might end up at Best Buy today to pick something up.  IF I do, I'll check.  If not, and nobody beats me to it, my sister in law is working tomorrow.  I'll ask her to try.

Pick up in store was not an option for these items, from what I remember.  At least that option was greyed out.

I just called to place my order over the phone because I had lots of questions. Here's what I found out:

You can change shipping or pick up as the date nears. You can also change credit cards if needed between now and then.

I JUST ORDERED SIX COPIES OF CHINESE DEMOCRACY!!!!

Apparently I got my pre-order in for all six versions just in time because the BestBuy site changed from "pre-order" to "coming soon"

I accidently ordered 2 of Vinyl Cover A, in addition to all of the other vinyls.  At this point, I'll take the extra!  I'm afraid if I try to change it, it'll bounce my order out and cancel the whole damn thing.

Well...I guess I'll have one in case something happens lol.  Or one to actually play.  I haven't listened to a vinyl in better then 25 years.

So when I go to get that stereo system, I'll have to get a record player too
