How many copies of Chinese Democracy will you buy / did you pre-order?

It depends on these "multiple versions". I'll buy at least one of every version, maybe two of each, one to open, one to keep sealed, depending on what they have on them. I'll prolly buy every vinyl version as well. This damn album is gonna cost me $200...

depends on how many versions there are...if there is one version i will buy that and a copy to keep sealed(always been the plan)...if there are a few I will obviously buy all of those and doubles to keep sealed...pretty much the number of versions released times 2.....

Unfortunately for me, it really depends on the price.  Money's tight and if it comes out during the Christmas presents buying season like they're saying, it's gonna be even tighter. 

I would love to have a copy of each version they put out (even though I don't own a vinyl player) plus like five more copies of the cd to give as gifts to people I've been trying to re-introduce GNR to.

At least 5.  One for home, one for the car, and 3 to give away.  Although I may buy more to distribute.  I'll give them to people just download everything.  This band have put too much time and effort into making this album and giving the public the best available product.  I will buy albums and give them to the cheap bastards I know who would even consider doing such a thing

There are already three friends I have in mind that I plan to mail CDs to.  We grew up adoring GNR fanatics and they have all since moved out of state.  We've touched base now and again, and the subject of Axl's most recent exploits never fails to be discussed.  I think it'd be a nice sentimental token to acknowledge the old days.

As for myself, there are very few records that I'd so graciously offer my wallet to when it comes to "deluxe", "expanded", or "special editions."; this will undoubtedly be one of them.  Certainly one of each configuration.  After that, we'll see...My wife is as insane a fan as I, and there are indeed faint rumblings of a potential turntable purchase to commemorate the grand event.

Back on topic: I'll be buying at least 3 CDs (for home, car and collection), and additional copies of whatever other formats are available.  Still got a turntable and I'm hoping for a vinyl release as well as any bonus DVD/CD material.
