this situation is absurd, this is more activity than we have seen in forever. but i don't think w. axl rose is sharing our joy. i kinda feel bad that he probably feels this fucks up his master plan, no matter how good and excited the reactions to this are. if axl makes a statement about this, do you think he will sound pissed off or will he take the oppertunity to say how these recent leaks have forced them to just wrap it up, kinda bitter-sounding (because he didn't want this album to suffer under pressure), or will he flat out come out and announce what we all have been waiting for? thoughts?

I hope he doesn't get mad. Things like this happen all the time to artists. And there is really no stopping it.
I would love for him to release a statement and tell us that the wait is coming very close to an end,and give us a release date of some sorts,even if it isn't 100%

then 3 years down the road we'll be sitting here saying remember in 2006 when those 3 demos were leaked.  If only something like that could happen again.  Chinese Democracy STARTS IN 2009!  woo!

Truthfully tho I think he'll be pissed, but pleased to our reactions.  He'll start off pissed off and he'll end his statement with c.d. will come out this year, and hopefully it will.

honestly, with JUST those songs on the album it would still blow everything out there today miles away. i believe in axl's talent, we are in for something amazing.

It's not just coming from the "community". I admit I am pretty far removed from what is "cool" and pop culture in general these days, but I cannot recall leaked DEMOs getting the run on commercial radio these are.

All Axl has to do is release CD, 2 years from now the fact these leaks happened will not even be a significant memory.

At the same time, he should be thankful that in 10 years time it took this long for something of this magnitude to leak.  With all the "smoke and mirrors", "Area 51", "dead silence" b.s. treatment that there has been - I still see this as a positive.
