The legal status of IRS

How come these stations are allowed to play IRS? Why don't they receive a "cease and desist" notice like the websites did? At this point it seems out of control, like stopping piss in a swimming pool.

I agree. We're even able to vote for it on radio stations nightly head to head shows. The stations don't seem to fear any repercutions so maybe there won't and isn't any. ?It is weird.

This may be a good thing. Most rappers albums get leaked and they have to rush to release a album.' Example: Jay Z, Em, etc.

This demo sounds 150% better than Metallica's last "Finished" album did. I think Axl needs to start talking. Soon.

This is good in any way, didn't you see ?
People talking, radio stations playin it... it's free publicity going on... Axl can make an official statement and make clear it is a demo recorded back in ?? years and say the actual version is far great !
The thing is, everybody is interesed in listen, good thing.

Are there many more fans more starved for new material than Guns N Roses fans.
Let them eat cake, they deserve it. Call it a bit of a gift for what happened in 2002.

Make sure you tell your boss that when an unfinished game of yours is leaked online.

New music isgood. Axl being whiney and delaying the album because of the leak is bad.

Considering the positive response to the track, I don't think Axl is complaining now.
If anything, he should be more confident about the success of CD.

Because it is more difficult to burn a good quality song to a CD-R or CD-RW from the radio.? Having the song already in good quality on the intenet is easier to distribute.

I agree completely. I understand completely his anger at the person who leaked the song and the fact that his unfinished music has been spread all over the web. But, it is done and cannot be undone. He can take the positive reactions as compliment and the buzz as something that can be used as a platform for future announcements and/or activities, or he can cry over spilt milk.
The act of leaking the material was wrong, but the positive buzz is good. I hope Axl and management focus on the good.
