Ha, I am not an obsessive person, even when I get a new album I've been dying to hear, I usually don't play it more than twice in a day, maybe 3 times for a couple of songs.

I have listened to these 2 tracks at least 30 times each now.

I listened to IRS something like several hours non stop yesterday. I didn't listen that much to "better" because it's too indus for me. I don't get that song. It's too techno for me in the GN'R context. This intro totally blocks me? Undecided
I hope we will have some more "Classic-Rock" stuff.

The intro was totally unexpected but I think it fits. It should be even better once we get to hear the whole song. Plus its just a little bit of techno. Dizzy has to do some thing man!  ok

The new IRS sounds great. On the PC is sounded average, although after burning it out to cd and playing it on a decent sound system the sound was so much better  ok - about 12 times, not that i'm counting  Wink

Make sure you give it a listen through headphones a couple of times. Also, right at the start focus on what Axl is saying, then later on you hear the intro part blended into the background behind Axl and the guitars, it sounds amazing! Also keep in mind that as soon as the chorus starts the clip ends, so we haven't even really heard the "meat" of the song. I have yelled out "Fuck!" about 5 times now when it cuts out just as the chorus kicks in!!  Grin Grin

IRS needs more aggressive guitars and the tempo should be speed up a little bit.

neither  Sad    missed IRS AND now Better as well....

and thought HTGTH was still down and only checked today - all has gone crazy here!  I even joined My Gnr during HTGTH's downtime - which was not a great experience.

dare i ask if any lovely HTGTH person would PM me the Better clip - I would love so much to hear it.  if not - guess I'll have to wait a little longer.....  crying

Well, I got to work at about 7:30.  It's now 11.  IRS (don't have Better here at work) has been on repeat via winamp since I got my PC up and running..  What's that, about 3.5 hours straight (and still going)?

Needless to say, I love the song.

I have listened to irs ten times roughly to try and see why everyone likes it so much... His voice is way to high first off.. Second the lyrics are just boring, .. He sounds very hellium like,.... Take that solo away at the end and it's horrible that is the only bright spot

I give "better" more chance of being a good tune
