O.k. so I was listening ot the radio today and James St. James the real Jimmy Hollywood came on and said the following:
The members of the new Guns N' Roses have all quit the band
Scott Weiland is rumoured to be going back to STP
Yeah it's only rumours but given the stuff that's been circulateing lately ie: the march release date of Chinese Democracy, and much of that being fueld by Slash himself makes you wonder. If indeed the members of current Gn'R have quit and Scott is heading back to STP you've got a singer without a band(Axl) and a band without a singer(VR). What would the logical step be? With the leaks of IRS and Better all of this is getting very interesting. Is it possible that Slash, Duff and Matt have heard CD and are impressed enough to be be willing to reteam with Axl and tour with that material?
Liek I said I'm not naive enough to buy into all of this but there is a hell of alot going on as far as Guns are concerend. The last month has been the most news/buzz worthy month since the failed tour. Also you got Axl and Slash talking nice about each other. Where's the bitterness and the trash talk we had gotten used to? Somthing's brewing. I still don't think the album will be released in March but I'm starting to get the feeling that things are gonna start to really heat up in March.

MAtt just added Scott to camp freddy and they are working on the new VR album. Which is more dancable. So rumor is a fail.

Thats exactly what I said. I figured it was all bullshit. But members have quit Gn'R before and they'll likely quit again. And Axl and Slsh acting cool towards each other is somthing we haven't seen in years and Scott Weiland is nearly as unpredictable as Axl so him leaving VR would not be a shock. MAtt just added Scott to camp freddy and they are working on the new VR album. Which is more dancable. So rumor is a fail. This to me has got tp be even more far fetched than the rumour I posted.  Don't rag on me though people. I'm just reporting what I heard on radio today. I never said any of it was fact. Actually the title of the thread is Rumours Gallor so.... |
