Good to see that with "Better" Axl is back to using his old voice and not the 2001-2002 Tour voice he used on the IRS demo.

Assuming "Better" is indeed an album track, we should have no worries as far as Axl's voice not being up to snuff.

Axl Rose's voice is fine.... hasn't lost a step... his voice is fine. People need to get over that.

I like him on both, especially in Better.

I think the voice he uses on IRS suits the song..Especially that long scream.
He sounds great on Better as well.

In I.R.S he's more like Robert Plant while in Better he's more like....well....Axl. I really can't choose. His voice is 'technically' better on I.R.S. than on Better, but I think his rasp sounds really edgy/killer in Better. I like the edge.

His voice on Better is fantastic and Better is by far the best new GNR track I've heard so far.

I never worried about his voice not being 'up to snuff'. Axl has always been able to do amazing things in the studio. God, I wish The Blues would have leaked. drool

Agree 100%.
IRS sounds more like Axl from 2002... That's not a bad thing to me, but Better is.. well.. just "better", lol.

He still has that rasp in his voice, on the 2002 he was more clean and high-pitched.
But he sounds great on both of these songs ok

Yeah, 'Better' is pure vintage Axl. 'IRS' is really different, and requires a higher pitched voice, but still great. Both show his versatility...

I prefer 'Better'. It's such old school Axl, it's just... awesome. IRS is awesome too but it's a bit foreign to me. Still absolutely love it, but Better is higher on the list at the moment ?ok

I was really surprised by Axl vocals on "Better" they were something we haven heard in New-GN'R era, but something we heard 15 years ago.

Axls vocals on Better are great, i think theyre great on IRS too, he goes from his Oh My God voice in the verses to the 02 tour voice with the scream and other parts
