Actually this is a good question...really...one would think the hat has been everywhere and being on stage and all...sweating..I think there is only one tho...but I could be wrong.

Has a few put there is one he has had since the Appetite days that he still wears (which got stolen last year the returned)

I know a bass player who always wore the same top hat (not like slash's though) for about 4 years. Last time I saw him he didn't have it ; he said it had gotten too beat up to wear any more. I would think Slash would have to get new ones on occasion.

Yah..it got stolen and was returned..I bet whoever stole it...sniffed and licked every inch of the inside of that hat... Wink

I wondered that aswell, about the hats. Was that supposed to read has a few but there is one he had..............., does anybody know the story behind why he started wearing the hat and who gave it to him. Love to know that.

I would say yes...prolly at any place that sells tuxedos or even vintage clothing.  I dunno if you could find an exact match though, maybe get it custom made.
