Rui Veloso's management company, MS management, have told Splat that Rock in Rio promoters are close to agreeing a deal with GN'R for the band to appear at their 2006 festival in Lisbon.

Rui Veloso will be playing the festival on 2nd June 2006.

With a grain of salt as always. The promoters must be fairly confident if they are telling websites that. If they couldn't get GNR and mentioned this, many people would be pretty annoyed.

what if they did play at rio this. year? would they do what they did at rir3 by playing old songs? or would you unviel new songs without CD in stores ?

after reading the "article" the second time i noticed that not the promoters told sp1at, but the management of some unknown band...........i don?t know if this is very reliable...
