Early nineties indie pop legends. Any other fans around? Classics like Animal Nitrate and Trash don't get the credit they deserve  Tongue

? only have Coming Up. I can?t remember when was the last time i?ve been listening to it.. not this century, i?m sure. But as i?m reading the song titles now, i liked them all.
Yep, it was a very good album indeed. And Brett Anderson has a unique voice.

And Brett Anderson has a unique voice.

For sure, kind of a weird squeal sometimes?

Either way well crafted tunes up and down the board.

here's an old thread that needed resurrecting!

Suede began a three night residency at brixton academy last night, they are playing their first three albums in full, last night was Suede, tonight Dog Man Star and tomorrow Coming up.

Last night's setlist:

'So Young'
'Animal Nitrate'
'She's Not Dead'
'Moving'
'Pantomime Horse'
'The Drowners'
'Sleeping Pills'
'Breakdown'
'Metal Mickey'
'Animal Lover'
'The Next Life'
'High Rising'
'He's Dead'
'My Insatiable One'
'To The Birds'
'Killing Of A Flashboy'
'Can't Get Enough'
'Trash'
'Beautiful Ones'

Sound was excellent and they were on fire, very tight and absolutely great to hear the first album tracks and B-sides after so long!  Always had exceptionally strong B-sides, this band, anyone who is interested should check out Sci-Fi lullabies album disc 1.  beer

well pulp and blur all have had their "comebacks" recently too - it would fit!  suede were the only "britpop" band I ever gave a damn about tbh, but elastica did have some tunes

Suede are reissuing special versions of their albums at the end of this month, remastered and with demo's and different versions of old tracks - some great stuff.  I think the "Suede" album reissue has a song with Justine from when she was in the band.
