My biggest music discovery of 2004 is definitely THE CURE!!  They're absolutely amazing.  Great pop songs and they do darker, more depressing songs in a much better way than shitty Radiohead.  Robert Smith is a genius.  Other than that, these days I'm listening to a lot of Blink-182, Alice Cooper, and Def Leppard.  Neil Young's Decade seems to be ony my stereo nonstop.

I wish I knew. I was going to buy it today, but they told me it won't be available until tomorrow.. hope I'll have time to pick it up on Saturday. From what I've heard it's great, though. It's more varied than their previous stuff, there are also some more mellow parts and clean singing. That might sound bad for certain fans, but knowing it's still the same guys making the music, I'm sure it'll work. The cd is accompanied by a dvd of their live performances, which is really cool. I get such a kick from watching their shows, the amount of energy they put out is incredible.
