Not sure if this has been mentioned at all (don't venture much into the "Dead Horse" section), but there's a film about the assassination of John Lennon being filmed right now for a 2007 release. It's called "Chapter 27" and stars Jared Leto and Lindsey Lohan.

I don't know how good this film will be, however, it would be nice to see an appearance of "Catcher in the Rye" in there.

but ummm , what is CITR is a shit awful song? How can we say it belongs on the soundtrack without hearing it?

Jared Leto playing John Lennon? Sounds like a B movie to me. Question: Why does everyone always assume the song is about Lennon? Are there any Axl quotes to back that statement up? CITR could be about something else. One of his stalking fans or maybe about him having a nervous breakdown.
