TOMS RIVER BUREAU
BRICK ? A Guns N' Roses jacket that made a lasting impression led to the arrest of a Waretown man on burglary and theft charges, police said.
Robert Weber, 19, of Seneca Boulevard, was charged with burglary, theft and possession of burglary tools ? a Phillips head screwdriver, officials said.
Police received a call about 1:30 a.m. Monday about a suspicious man, who may have been burglarizing vehicles, in the Cedar Bridge Manor neighborhood, Lt. Doug Kinney said.
The caller described the man as being about 6 feet tall, and wearing a Guns N' Roses jacket and a black bandanna.
The caller also told police that the suspicious man was seen dropping a book bag, which was later found to have been reported stolen from a car in another neighborhood, Kinney said.
Upon learning of the tip, Patrolman Joseph Forrester, who was familiar with Weber, recalled seeing him in town a few days earlier, although police said they thought he was living in Florida. He also remembered that Weber was wearing a jacket described by the caller, Kinney said.
Patrolman Mark Storch then went to the caller's neighborhood where he saw a black Dodge pickup truck with Florida tags just leaving the area. Police stopped the truck and found Weber inside along with a male juvenile from Brick. His relationship with Weber was unclear Tuesday. Weber was wearing the black Guns N' Roses jacket and a black bandanna, Kinney said.
Weber then admitted breaking into a total of five vehicles on Eastern Lane and Sycamore and Pine drives, Kinney said. Stolen items included a compact disc case, lottery tickets, an American Express gift card and Trident gum, Kinney said.
Weber was held Tuesday in the Ocean County Jail, Toms River, in lieu of $1,000 bail, authorities said. The juvenile was released to his grandmother's custody. No charges have been filed against him.

Why on earth would anyone wear something GNR while commiting a crime? Its so distinctive looking, and not many people wear it. Wouldn't be too hard to track you down, or pick you out of a lineup.

Why didn't you bother correcting his "its", "till" and "u"?

One step at a time...
And
till
by the way, is perfectly fine.
Now, there does exist one minor point of contention, but I'm not going to be too harsh. Its just not nice, u know?

Maybe it's perfectly fine today in many circles, but really this is the way it should be:
'
till
.
Yeah, maybe being too harsh with him now is the wrong way to go; I guess my extremist nature kicked in a little there...

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=till
Usage Note:
Till and until are generally interchangeable in both writing and speech, though as the first word in a sentence until is usually preferred: Until you get that paper written, don't even think about going to the movies. ?Till is actually the older word, with until having been formed by the addition to it of the prefix un-, meaning ?up to.? In the 18th century the spelling 'till became fashionable, as if till were a shortened form of until. Although 'till is now nonstandard, 'til is sometimes used in this way and is considered acceptable, though it is etymologically incorrect.
For what it's worth, I too prefer and use the short-lived variation.

Interesting that
till
is the older word.
To be clear, you prefer using 'till or 'til. I personally feel 'til is the more proper of the two (now).
I'm done with 'till, since it's etymologically incorrect
(but honestly, not after the introduction of the word until, but going further back, ok fine).
Bring on the 'til, yup.
