I guess it's not fun when a guest at your party gets the most attention in the media....

/jarmo

or...

Munky: "Heeeeey Axl, what?s up dude?"

Axl: "... who are you?"

( 10 seconds of silence... )

Munky: "I?m Munky from Korn man..... the guitarrist....."

( 5 seconds of silence... )

Axl: "Owww... now I get it.... a PARTY IN the cemetary... I just tho you guys were all dead"

those new rock bands aren't used to the press making a field day out of them, so they completely get defensive or offended when a verteran rockstar captures everyones attention.
In the late '80s, imagine Mick Jagger showing off at a GN'R party... Not sure Axl would have been very glad.
Who knows man, i find great empathy between those two camps.

i don`t think so. actually they got along very well i think. they even toured together...so i think they had their tour partys hihi   and i don?t think axl would?ve been jealous or anything like that....he would?ve acted similar to the way the GC guys did i guess.....

by the way mick didn`t hide for 15 years at that time..... ok

Psychologically, you could consider this a reunion tour because I`ve managed to find enough pieces of my mind in order to be with you here tonight - - Axl Rose, Chicago 2002
