i dont know its got Michael Mann Directing and as you know he did Heat (amazing film) and Collateral (very good film) so im putting up good hopes for this un |

Saw the trailer before King Kong a few weeks ago. I think this movie is going to put your theory to the test Mann did not save Collateral IMO. The movie was shot great and had great scenes, but it still added up to a big ole Goose egg in the end. To me the thought of remaking Miami Vice makes me shudder. Knowing the Mann has a hand in it gives it a chance; a slim one. In a way I wish they would stop creating remakes. As cheesy as Miami Vice is to watch these days, it's best to just leave it alone. It was a great show for the time and had a huge cultural impact in America during that time period as well. Today, as time marched on, it has become cheese. Best to leave it alone I think. |

I like Colin Farrell but I really don't care about or have any interest in Jamie Foxx. Definitely won't be seeing this film at the theater for sure. But I'll probably watch it eventually when it comes on one of the movie channels.
