If you could pick the band

If you could pick out the guitarist, drummer, bassist, and keyboardist for YOUR Guns N' Roses, who would you pick?
**Sorry Axl HAS to be the singer!** **Keep in mind this is all fantasy!**
I would pick Tommy Lee as the drummer (or John Bonham if we could bring back the dead), Slash would still be the guitarist, Jason Newstead as the bassist (he needs a job), and Axl could sing and play keyboards or it may be fun to have Elton John in to play keyboards! That would be great!

I like the Mustaine idea for guitar....however could you image Dave & Axl on one stage?? Two red heads with attitudes??
That sounds so delicious!

I would pick Tommy Lee as the drummer
Tommy Lee's a great and exciting drummer, but I personally wouldn't feel comfortable going to a GN'R concert if he were their drummer. He's always asking women to pull their tops up. It's disrespectful and annoying. Other than that, I think he's great.

You wouldn't feel comfortable with Tommy Lee as the GNR drummer just because he's asking women to pull up their tops??
Maybe I'm wierd but don't you pull up your top anyway at all concerts???

I don't. But that's just me. I'm very modest, especially in front of thousands of people.
He is an awesome drummer. I'm just not in-line with his ethics. Women should be able to attend a concert without being harassed to show their breasts in front of the whole audience. I went to a Motley Crue concert not so long ago, so I'm speaking from experience. I would not have gone had I known.

Boy, we are living in a dream world.
AH~ But how nice it would be, eh?
As far as taking off tops at concerts~ honestly I have never done it either, and I've been to MANY concerts and never felt I
HAD
to take off my top. I will say though I was watching Motley Crue videos last weekend and during the video for "Wild Side" my 6 year old daughter rips off her top and screams "Yeah, baby!". (I was so proud!
)So, you tell me~ is it the music or is it the man?

LOL!
It's the man, because he actually takes out a video camera and goes around the whole audience begging girls to show their breasts. A lot of women are into that at rock concerts, but he seems to target the ones who aren't.
Anyway, different strokes and all that...

Thank you, Journey!?
You are right on~ Different strokes~ Now how do I go about stroking Axl? Oh, again, wrong thread~~
Any other suggestions on Gunner members?

Sorry for veering off topic, I just had to get Tommy Lee off my chest, no pun intended.
I like the current lineup of GN'R. But since we're playing a fantasy game:
Drums - Neil from Rush
Lead - Joe Walsh from The Eagles
Bass - Does it matter?
...Joan Jett maybe
Piano - Elton John or Billy Joel

Yeah how about a bassist with attitude like the early Iron Maiden era with Steve Harris?

Personally I would just stick in UYI GnR but that wouldn't be very original or witty so with that in mind:
Vocals : Axl
Guitars : Slash and Hendrix (twin lead)
Bass: Les Claypool
Drums : Keith Moon
Keyboard : Keith Emerson

Well personally I think taking out all the original members while only leaving the singer.. is pretty much making it not GN'R... but if I HADDDDDDD to...
Vocals:Axl
Guitars: Robin and Richard
Bass: Tommy
Drums: Brain
Keyboards: Dizzy and Chris
but that just wouldn't be GN'R right?
. heh. jk...
