It's true that Axl could give him a call at anytime and he would be on the next plane back to L.A., but I don't think Richard would book tour dates without at least asking Axl about it. So I have to think that he has checked with Axl and Axl has told him that he won't be doing anything with gnr in March so he is free to book tour dates. So this is defintely not a good sign.

How is this not a good sign? There was no plans for March so Richard is playing a few shows with Nena till he is needed back in the guns camp. I dont see how this means anything negative? Huh

Because we all got elated when Axl showed up to the Korn party and gave his interview and some people started thinking CD was right around the corner. Because some people really believed that Slash would be right on March. Because it might fit the recurring pattern of the last few years when we start out optimisitic and suddenly all the other players are suddenly booking their own projects.

Me? I'm not too concerned about this-BUT if he starts booking dates with Nena or others into April or May and if Tommy and the Dizzwald do the same, then that probably isnt a good thing. just have to wait and see like always.

definetly not a good thing with richard doing shows with nena, for nothing else it shows that gnr isn't his number 1 priority between and march. bottom line if we are going to take gnr serious, the members need to get cd out and stop their individual touring and shows.

I think the ball could get rolling without the members of GnR being recalled Justice League style.

again, it flys in the face of some theorys on here about this 'band'.
This 'band' bears absolutely no resemblance to a conventional band. It is a project -  an Axl project - pure and simple. CD may well come this year, and I cant wait, but dont be surprised by the other members vagueness and need to find steady work in the interim

This same thing happened in 05.? It started out as a couple of shows, then morphed into a full-blown tour for Richard.? I don't see it as a bad sign, not yet.

Axl could only tour with Pittman, the guy can replace the whole band ... not because he is talented or something like that but he's got the equipment.

All we can do is wait and see, but that podcas interview seemed to indicate he has other priorities than just guns and SA-he has that film he's scoring and then he's turning the leftovers from it into a VGH follow-up, so it would seem that he has plenty to occupy his time.
