what can be done if some one is sending spam through PMs?  Then after you ask them to not send you it anymore they PM you back more than once?

Go to Profile -> Personal Message Options -> Ignorelist.

Add the username there and click Change Profile.

Yeah, seriously. It happened to me the first time last year. I thought it was strange. I didn't know someone would spam forum members, considering the fact that you have to sign up at a forum to be able to send the spam. It was always from people here I didn't recognize, so maybe there sole intention of joining this forum was to send spam ocassionally. Who else got one yesterday? Unfortunately, I deleted it or I could tell you guys who has been doing it.

I got one a day or two ago, for the first time.  I considered it spam, since it was from someone I've never spoken to, trying to get me to vote for something I've never heard of.  I checked to make sure it was a regular member (someone with more than a couple posts) and since it was, I just ignored it.  I know who it was, but I'm not going to embarrass the person by posting their name.  I think he was just desperate to get people to vote or something.

Didn't think too much of it, read it and deleted it.

If it happend more often, than I think that something should be done, but once in a while, not a big deal
