GARRY I agree with you when you say Axl has grown up... certainly he has, and seems a nice person, not the kind of attitude towards Slash in one of his concerts back in 2002... Thats great!

I wasn't as disturbed by his comments about the album not being finished as I thought I would be. It just feels different this time. I also love his attitiude towards Chinese Democracy. Sounds like he's realized you cant make the greatest album ever, and those comments also sounded like he was letting certain segments of his fanbase know that its not gonna change the world. I also liked how he categorizes The Blues as one of his favorites. I always figured that would be a major highlight of the album. Another cool comment he made was saying how many tracks would be on the album. He officially put the EP theory to rest. hihi ?It also sounds like he has more plans after CD. His comments about a complex album and you might like a few songs sounds like there isn't going to be many(maybe none at all) typical GNR rockers on CD. Sounds good to me. ok

Thats the actual , legit , rollingstone website right?  Shocked

I too dont really understand the math , he wants 32 songs , 26 nearly done and 13 for the album? Uhhh

Maybe it will be a release and then another a few months apart like SOAD or maybe he has some soundtrack work planned , b-sides etc?

Hmmmmm

Still alot of recording though  and mixing  and mastering and artwork and promotion.  Sad

"We're working on thirty-two songs, and twenty-six are nearly done," he says.
Nearly done...?

Doesn't sound like March is realistic then...

Youre assuming it ever was...I think Slash's info was probably outdated when he announced it, BUT it certainly looks like it's  not out of the question we'll see it by the summer-to echo what Mr. Nixon said, I think he probably is finishing the second record now--so that it can be release while the band is on the road. All rampant speculation, but i imagine with this hitting the press, Merck might have to say something soon!

By the looks of it, Axl would be able to support a world tour, cuz he looks like he's in the best shape of his life.

It's amazing how a short, brief interview will get everyone hyped up again. ?It was just a couple of days ago when everyone was hating. ?I went to rollingstone.com and couldn't find the article. ?I hope its true. ?This is what I needed was some good news. ?Thats cool how Axl told Papa Roach to talk to his management. ?AKA no way I'm going to be on your album... ?Thank God
