What worries me is that the album isn't done yet: 6 more songs to finish plus selection and I assume mixing and mastering. this sounds like a late in the year release realisitically.

Wow that is awesome. Axl talking to his old friend Izzy is great to hear, that's cool he says the album will sound very different. I love the comments on Slash he made, it doesn't sound like a feud much as is it used to seem.

Ummm, I hope Blues is not one of the best tracks but TWAT has always been rumored to be awesome.

Axl did a great job sidestepping Papa Roach's absurd request to appear on their next album. LOL. Yeah, like he would do that.

Yeah, they suck as much as Kid Rock and Axl turned him down.

Axl turned Kid Rock down? News to me...Not a bad idea for Axl to record with a newer band. If it's a hit, younger music fans will be more interested in GN'R and CD.

Or a sound track song. If axl came out next week and said the album will be released on the first tuesday in Nov, I would be happy, as long as we get a date set in stone.

YES!!! very happy to hear from Axl himself even if there arent that many concrete details.

whats funny is..  i dreamt last night that i met Axl Rose and later i found out one of my friends interviewed him ... and i heard the interview and his voice sounded a little different. he had a big beard and a beanie on.... so i had a feeling something was gonna happen soon...
