Sorry to start a thread based on this but I had to get it out.  I feel alot better after hearing Axl talk about a release this year.  It was like hearing good news about something you've been looking forward to.  Whether it actually comes out this year, we'll see, but I cant imagine how I'd feel actually going to the store to buy it.  Anyone else get the same feeling?

it will honestly be an amazing trip. i plan to lock my room, turn off the lights, and listen to it 3 times over before coming to any sort of conclusion on the quality of the music.

Well, i'm sure i'll buy the CD on a Pre-Sale at any online store...just to make sure that I'll listen to this damn album right when it got's released...

And I know that Chinese Democracy will be the only record I'll be listening to for several weeks after I'll buy it...it was like that with Frameshift's An Absence of Empathy...imagina with a CD that I'm waiting for more then 6 years!

It's strange to think about how excited we all get whenever Axl speaks. It's weird to see how nuts the boards go when Axl gives an interview in which he doesn't really give any concrete details. I can only imagine what's going to happen when an official release date is announced or more so when CD is actually released.

I know the topic has been done to death, but I agree that it is going to feel so weird to actually walk into a store one day and walk out with Chinese Democracy in my hands. I am also going to buy two copies, one to listen to and one to just leave in the plastic wrap as something to keep in mint condition to remember that I spent 15 years of my life waiting for it to be released. (That's of course assuming that the wait ends this year.)

last nite i had a dream about it ......
i bought a cd ... white cover with an axl's pic on it.

It was a really simple cover, and axl looked like he was 31-32 , when he sang with
Bruce Springsteen ..

There was a title ... Axl Rose and Nu guns n'roses ...

i also heard a song...

it was so strange ....
