Or a day or a week.? very true a good to great rock song can be wipped together in a night, just an idea or it can be something like NR that took years.. I can't imagine how many great rock songs were thrown together on some drug induced night

Its a matter of inspiration... and Slash is the best... I hope hell do something like Snakepit Volume 1... that was even better than Guns N Roses, for me.

Well I think Slash didnt release his best material in the first VR album -- Contraband -- but he will do it in the upcoming albums... You know perfection is a matter of learning from your failures...

If my memory serves me, I thought I was hearing at the beginning of the summer that the new cd would be out by the beginning of this year. As I also can't wait for new material...I hope we get something within the next couple months

This album will come out a few months after they stop scheduling tour dates and set aside some studio time. After that, I doubt if it'll take much time at all.
