I find this sad but the world we live in today is filled with so many people who are so cynical and are unable to enjoy or like anything.

Im really gonna find it sad for people who have waited this long and will ultimately shit on the album regardless of how great it is.

I can see the threads and posts now and it makes me sad to know that some people on here are probably not even gonna give the CD a chance before they bash it.

Dont expect Appetite, Dont expect UYI's, Don't compare it to anything, Just listen to it for what it is and allow yourself to be entertained.

If u truly dont like it, Fine, I can live with that, but at least give it the fair chance it deserves before being critical.

this album is gonna be a complex record.

that means it wont be easily digestible, its not gonna be candy hooky pop shit and albums like this take time to digest and hear properly.

So it may take 4 or 5 listens all the way through to fully hear this properly.

So please, give it the proper listening before judgement.

fair  enough. Contraband took me a few listens before I began to like it, and then it really took hold only after I saw them live. So, yeah, we should give Axl a chance and not rush to judgment on the basis of a first listen.

Actually I don't give a shit what anyone says about the album. When I get to listen to it then my opinion is the only one relevant to me personally, just like yours will be to you.

It's just music. It won't be life changing or the second coming or anything.

CD could have only 2 good songs on it and it would still rank higher than Contraband. It still amazes me that with all that talent in VR, the best thing they could come up with is Slither.

Why bring Contraband in to this? God talk about defensive!! I never dissed CD just saying that there are two sides to this argument, and you have to bring in VR. It is not about hating Axl, if CD is really bad, there will still be people here saying it is the greatest thing since sliced bread!!
