Ya know what i think Axl is amazing when he decides to be a rock star. but I just don't the general public interest is there to want these shows to even ask him to be a guest. Simple. MTV would prolly do an interview with him if he asked but that's about the speed of it.

I seriously don't think we'll hear from Axl again until a Single or CD is released. Then we'll get the odd radio interview, magazine interview or MTV interview. that's it folks, face the facts, Axl isn't a hero to the world like some of us would want to believe. he won't play the superbowl, any awards shows, the olympics or 60 minutes, or larry king live or whatever. Most people just don't really give a shit about him right now.

I'd rather see Chinese Democracy or a tour more than 60 minutes off wanking about who broke Guns.

Once we finally know when CD is coming then I want Axl to be a promotional machine. Get on everything, Best Damn Sports Show, Letterman, Leno, Access Hollywood, MTV, VH1, ESPN, everything. He is going to have to get back into the spotlight and let people know he is still making kick ass music, and is one cool mother fucker.

If Axl cared about promotion and record sales he would have released the album years ago and certainly wouldn't have become a recluse. His motive is to make a great album and the record company certainly certainly cant pressure him to promote the album - they'll just be happy to have a release date. There is no chance of him becoming a promotional machine. I'm guessing a couple of interviews in magazines and that's it.

Maybe he values his privacy after years of being hammered in the media and being in the spotlight.

Axl isn't stupid. I think there will be interviews, he'll be ready for them and the questions.
