Next week is the premier of Howard Stern on Sirius Radio.? There has been alot of talk about who the 1st guest will be...and it is rumored tobe somebody big who "hasn't been heard from in a while".? What are the chances that this could be Axl?? I know he appeared (via phone call I believe) on the old Stern show back in the late 80's and I know that Stern is a GNR fan.?

Also...I find it coincidental that some of the exact same sound bites from Martin Luther King that are used in the live versions of Madagascar are used in promo ads on Sirius for Stern's upcoming debut (which he is actually getting in trouble for using by MLK's family, apparently)...I'm talking about the "free at last" speech.

Just a thought.

And here we go again...

Well, since Rolling Stones are confirmed to play at the superbowl's half time then some topic like this would be missing right?

PS.: Danny, I didn't meant to be rude ok?

I didn't think that was rude at all, PW.

I was just thinking that if CD is really coming out in a couple of months (which I have pretty strong doubts about) then this would be a huge time to make a big appearance.  Stern's first show on Sirius would be pretty huge...there will be alot of listeners that day (including me).

My god the rumours are flying around at the moment. Lets hope one of them drops!

Is Stern a fan of Axl / GN'R?

Even though Axl does fall under the category of "somebody big who hasn't been heard from in a while"..........
The MLK speech is just referring to Stern now being "free at last" from the FCC regulations that controlled what he could do/say on his old "public" radio show (i.e., he would get fined if somebody said things like 'shit' or 'fuck' on air).

Probably unlikely, but you never know-Stern and his people were reasonably complimentary of Axl back in 2002. Axl will have to find some venue to make a reaaperence and give an interview-stern is a logical choice.

But id still say its 99.5% unlikely

I want to believe this so bad, but I just can't.

I can't envision Axl going on Stern's show, especially when Stern trashed Axl's performance at the Mtv Vma's.  Stern is a fan of the old band but I don't think he cares too much for the new band.  I think I remember he did give a nice review to the Madison Square Garden 2002 performance.

Can anyone see Stern going for one Axl's interviews where he puts restrictions on the questions that can be asked? Hmmm

Piazza is a reporter for "Howard 100 News"...which is what's played 24-7 on Stern's Sirius channels untill he starts there officially next Monday.  That is interesting...him being involved.  Something I didn't think of myself.

This is just another great opportunity to promote the album. A lot of people are buzzing about the debut of the new show. I hope somebody records it just in case... If the album is going to come out, he's gotta do an interview somewhere. This new format of the show is totally uncensored so that my appeal to axl.

I believe Howard Stern is going to be on Larry King Thursday night(?). Maybe he'll drop some clues as to who his guests will be.
