Hello guys....I'm in a band called Pete Sanchez.? We're from New York City.? Were not a cover band at all, but a friend asked us to learn a song for him for our last show.? We're all HUGE GNR fans so we thought we'd try it out and it turned out to be really fun.? It's a bit sloppy because it was put together in a week but let us know what you guys think.? We'd really love to hear the opinion of some hardcore GNR fans.? I uploaded it to our myspace page and it'll be on our website soon.

Thanks! Scott.

The legendary guitarist said that he does have some contact with Guns n' Roses singer Axl Rose, however.

"I've actually sent him Christmas cards, just to be cordial, but he never returns anything."

i thought it was pretty good the band sounded tight, and u only had one guitar player, he did a good job all things considered, and i really liked his guitar tone as well.
considering u'r not a tribute band there's no harm on the lead singer not trying to sound like Axl, that might even be a plus.
i liked it. good luck with the band. ok
