Well, I was told by someone that there's a real chance of something happening at a specific time next year. When that point is reached and we have nothing, I will "move on".

Earlier this year, it was reported that Tommy collaborated with Paul Westerberg and Josh Freese on a track, for a movie soundtrack I think. Suddenly The Mets were about to reunite. Before that, I think some people blew a lid because Tommy recorded his solo album and toured behind it.

Funny how Fortus toured with Nena since May and it caused less of a fuss about him leaving than Tommy's few Soul Asylum gigs. Get a grip, people.

Dude he isnt leaving GNR anytime soon. If and I do mean IF there is no gnr actuvuty planned for next year then you can bet your bottom dollar that Tommy will tour with Soul Asylum if asked. But that doesn't mean he's out of gnr, it just means he wants to tour.

After RIR4 will be out of the picture, some fans will be talking about RIR5. And then RIR6. And so on...

It's one of those magical dates that make some people believe CD'll happen, like 'Thansgiving is good for a release', 'It'll be out by Christmas', 'May sounds good', 'A summer release is very likely', 'VMA's surprise guest will be GN'R'.
