Even if this guy was lying, I think his assessment is "balls-on-accurate". We all know that Axl pulled Tommy out of the toner sales business, giving a re-birth to his musical career. What does Tommy care if the album ever comes out? He's getting paid anyway - until now. I would say that after Geffen (?) pulled GNR's financing of the recording process - their salaries dried up. I would guess that Tommy is contractually obligated to fulfill the year in GNR. Once 2006 rolls around, he'll announce that he is leaving for Soul Asylum. One doesn't do photo promos for a band that they are merely "filling" in for. And, let's face it, Tommy's prospects aren't greater than Soul Asylum.

And, let's face it Axl treats his fans like crap!

 I for one can't blame him if he leaves GNR.....  I was at the Soul Asylum Show in NYC....it was great, Tommy had alot of energy and seemed to really be into the songs..... it looked to me like him and Dave Pirner were a very good match-up.  Seems to me with S/A's new album due out in March it would be a good time to jump ship to a band that is actually making new music.

Let me see...  Guns N Roses and playing next to Axl or playing w/ Soul Asylum.  Hard choice...  I think I would pass playing "Run Away Train".  I don't think my stomach could handle hearing that song ever again (no offense Soul fans).  I don't think Soul Asylum really has much of a fan base anymore.  Atleast not to sell 16,000+ tickets.  Sounds like a good fun part time gig to me while on break w/ Guns.

It's like everytime someone is "Out" everyone always panics and starts saying where's mysteron, call merck, call madison, darkemus or whoever the hell else.. I say who the fuck cares, if these guys are "out" you will hear about this as real news.. Not someone who pops up once a month to knock down rumours.. Funny thing is there is no music anways, all the guys could be gone and it would be no difference

When axl calls these guys will come running.. That's the impression I get from how they talk during their interviews.. So until then I don't care if tommy is playing with Soul asylum or dizzy is playing some kid's sweet sixteen.. there's not a damn thing going on so these guys need to keep busy.. If and when axl wakes up I'm sure they will be there...

and one more thing.. Looka thow long these guys have been loyal with nothing to show for it so if they leave I don't blame them and the one who's fault it will be is axl rose.. He has these guys with nothing but free time, meanwhile they are suppose to be in gnr.. Robin tommy been there since the later 90's with nothing to show.. If some gets fed up and says fuck it i'm out of here axl deserves it, he's lucky these guys have waited so long

Hey, If AXl was sending me a check every month to keep me on retainer and expecting nothing in return....I would say "the shit sounds amazing" and do whateverelse I normally do.

I do think it wierd that Stinson is taking band promo pics...while the GnR faithful think a release is always a few months a way.

I don't think he is out...but if he is, he is not the one to blame. I would have done the same. The man spent 8 fucking years of his life on a record, but Axl never released it.

a paragraph about other bands. For instance; do not show your face under other bands pictures...
This could mean that deal is not valid anymore or Stinson don?t care. Eitherway, this is not good.
