newcomer or comeback?

Richard was in 2 pretty well known bands, Love Spit Love and the Psychedellic Furs.

Not demeaning the bands by any means, but Love Spit Loves claim to fame was a remake of The Smith's "How Soon Is Now" and the Furs were years away from any success after Richard joined..

It's a great tune BTW. even the cover by Tatu sounded OKish.

I read some fucking TRASH review on this new band back in 2002 in the media, the media used the words "clowns" "hired band", "Marylin manson's rejected", "ridiculous looking band", "as big as a house" "fatt goggy and the guys who aren't Slash" etc... th media trashed the band.

I haven't red any of the sort. Basically I don't read lowbrow magazines.
Anyways Yesterday will take care of itself.  Another day another donut.

As talented as the other players are, and as notweworthy as some of their past exploits have been, it all pales in comparsion to the legend of Guns n Roses, and Axl Rose.

i think it's proving harder and harder for Axl to just "comeback" and say "we're Guns N' Roses!" and expect the rationally thinking world to accept that out of the blue

If you saw a newcomer called "guns n roses" out of the blue in this century, you'd accept the fact that the band is the kickass real new type (never existed).
I prefer the band to be considered as a newcomer anyway.

So in reality, the only "newcomer" in the band, really, is Pittman, everybody else has "been there..done that"

I expect pitman to play a very important role in CD. Polly A star will be born soon.

Unfortunately Love Spit Love had no real success, unless doing a good cover of an already proven song
is deemed successful.

if/when gnr will finaly release chinese democracy.? ? will they be considered as newcomers or as a band which has its comeback?? ?if they have to be put in a category at the vma`s for example......or what do you think will the public think about it? I?d guess it depends on how the public views the band. axl`s solo project or really new gnr....

a little question i was thinking about.....
 

Of course it will be considered a come back because the vast majority of people do not know there are any new members, they just know that GUns are back, so it will be concidered a come back.....in my humble opinion.

i think the general public will view it as a comeback and compare the new to the old band..... and that sucks....      i guess the best thing was to call them a new band....but there?s the fuckin`name (which deinitely has to stay imo...)
