if/when gnr will finaly release chinese democracy.? ? will they be considered as newcomers or as a band which has its comeback?? ?if they have to be put in a category at the vma`s for example......or what do you think will the public think about it? I?d guess it depends on how the public views the band. axl`s solo project or really new gnr....

a little question i was thinking about.....

I don't think it'll be considered the comeback of GN'R, more like the comeback of W. Axl Rose who's been MIA for a while.

It will be called a comeback. I personally much prefer 'newcomers' tho. Undecided

Comeback mostly, but if it takes off, maybe newcommers as well. Wouldn't it be great to see Robin and Richard on the cover of guitar world.

I also agree with this statement. Everyone knows its not the real/old GNR. Everything falls on Axl. Whether its a success or failure, its on him. Everyone knows that.

True. comeback of new gnr.

absolutely.
It'd be great to see the 8 guys together on the cover of rolling stone, NME etc.
And I wouldn't hate to see their full-page pics appear in the quality papers along with follow-up reports about "the most expensive album never made".

i think it will be bouth in a way.
Since the Band name still is GNR, and Axl is the captain.
But newcommers, since they are a new line up. And maybe changed theyr style

Richard Fortus, the phenomenon

« Reply #12 on: December 21, 2005, 12:59:29 PM »

Come back of Axl, under the brand's name "Guns N' Roses". People are not stupid, they will see that Slash is not here anymore, and they won't call it "Guns N' Roses".

Well technically it'll be a comeback for all of them but Fortus cuz he's always been a session musician no?

Axl - GnR
Dizzy - GnR
Tommy - Replacements
Brain - Primus
Robin - NIN
Chris - Tool

Of course,I'm not taking into account the solo projects and one off's that each member has done peace

I wonder if they will be considered as a band. I mean, even us, the fans, don't even consider them as a "real band"...so imagine the general public...or the media... I read some fucking TRASH review on this new band back in 2002 in the media, the media used the words "clowns" "hired band", "Marylin manson's rejected", "ridiculous looking band", "as big as a house" "fatt goggy and the guys who aren't Slash" etc... th media trashed the band.

Oh cool, I didn't know that, I thought he just did stuff with as a hired man (Nina, Nsync etc)

Pittman was never a member of Tool, but he did work with them on the ?nima record..

Oh i thought he received a band credit in the ?nima Booklet (Chris Pittman - Synthesizer) can't confirm that though i don't have the CD with me Sad

Not a band credit.

Additional Synthesizer on "Third Eye": Chris Pitman

That's it.
