There is no way you can leave out November Rain. I realize this is all opinionated,  but it is just wrong to leave out the song that practically defined the GnR of the 90's. Without this song, I strongly doubt they would be even half as famous.

 Hey man, there is some thruth in your opinion, according to me. But I think that the real GUNS N' ROSES attitude was damaged with NOVEMBER RAIN. There is no doubt, that this is a great ballad but it's not for GUNS N' ROSES.
  It is true that they wouldn't be so famous, but I don't like GUNS because they were or are famous. I don't care about the famous. I love their songs, their lyrics, their attitude, their behaviour and everything else.

Don't get me wrong, as a fan I loved 2 albums cause i would have more material to listen to, but if they wanted to make a MONSTER album, they should have made some cuts and made it just one album. Think about it. There would be no fillers just all great songs

I don't even think that would fit on one CD, and there are songs I would still want to listen to.  The best idea would have been to cut out My World and Get In The Ring, and transfer a few songs from Illusion 1 onto disc 2.  The only songs I ever skip past on either disc are GITR and My World.  It's impossible to make it into one disc without leaving out some great songs.

I have always liked Use Your Illusions, but always felt somewhat let down by them.  However, today I made a CD with my favorites and in the sequence I thought was cool.  Listening to it gave me a new appreciation for it and made me think of what could have been.  When you put the best songs on one CD, I think it could possibly be better than Appetite.  I think if they would have just released one CD of the best tracks there wouldn't have been such a media backlash and they may have weathered the grunge onslaught a little better.  When you get rid of all the filler, it really is an amazing albulm.  I am sure I am little late realizing this and everybody has probably already done this, but I thought I would share it anyways.  Here is my tracklist:
