My Chemical Romance, probably the band that got most of my interest this year and Im sure glad they did. Their music takes a few trys to get into, but when it hits you right, your in love:

Hedley, another great rock group from my very own Canada!

Fall Out Boy, another band from Canada who made a huge splash this year and will only continue to get bigger probably:

Philadelphia's own Jedi Mind Tricks. One of the hottest hip hop groups around for a damn good reason, they have killer beats and killer lines!

7L & Esoteric, Latino hip-hop at its absolute finest. You'll be lucky to find someone nearly as hot as Eso on the Mic or as quick as 7L on tha turntable..

Finally, who could forget Royce Da 5'9''? A former protege of Eminem and Dre, and Im glad he is because he kicks way more ass as a solo lyracist:

James Blunt-just so original

 confused

Yes, but of course, never have we heard some guy sing about a break up before in a cringe inducing manner - he's re-written the way we look at music

Which of his songs are about a break up? he kinda reminds me of a 21st century Dylan, you know just him and his guitar.

Courtney Love- i know a lot of u probly dont like her cus of the whole Nirvana thing but America's Sweetheart is a fantastic album
James Blunt-just so original

I like her, saw Hole in '99, but America's Sweetheart is her weakest album, ever.

iv never heard any of her other albums so im just judgin by this.

The Cure-good 'ole Robert Smith rarely dissapoints..
Nine Inch Nails-huge huge fan now, saw them live at MSG, awesome show.
Stone Temple Pilots- love VR but still such a shame....
Marilyn Manson-used to hate him, but Mechanical Animals has become one of my favorite albums.

I got into Godsmack this year. I always thought they were pretty bland, but after seeing their live DVD Changes, they do have some pretty good songs, even if they are a AIC/Metallica ripoff.

Get Jailbreak next if you're getting another album, it's the best introduction to Lizzy
