Mobile Phone Advice Needed

Anyone here know their mobiles well? I dunno really. I have a Sony Ericsson now which Im quite contempt with. but Nokias are way better for writing text messages on

the Motorolas Ive had have generally been absolute crap to handle.

Heh, true. The problem is that i've used Nokia for years now and it's difficult to get used to Sony's or Motorola's interface. Nokia keeps it consistent thru all their models.

Ive mostly had Nokias too, but it's pretty easy to get used to another brand. just takes a few days of noodling with it and you're there, hehe.
Ive had Siemens, SE, Motorola and NEC in between. and probably a couple others that I can't remember, lol.

Hmm I switched fomr a Nokia to a Sagem.  At first I was like "WTF!?!"  But its ok now and I am used to it.  I must say flip phones are hard to text people from!!!!  Thats one down side.

If you want to know if that phone is good, just go to Vodaphone or Telstra shop or something and check out what they have.  See the deals ask some questions.  Thats what I did!!!    Good luck

After weeks of research, I've come to the conclusion that Nokia simply does not offer the same value for money as other manufacturers.  (Kinda like Windows vs. Linux - Ease of Use vs. Functionality). Nokia is all I've used till now, but yesterday I bought a new Sony Ericsson W800i for $400.



This phone has everything u could possibly need. It still takes a few days to get used to though. I highly recommend Sony Ericsson to anybody getting a new cell.

Just got a Motorola.. crap in terms of useability.. just typing a text message is so time consuming.

My Samsung was really easy to use with a good interface, problem is I had problems with the screen more than once. I didnt take the extra year warranty so I ended up buying a new phone while Im still paying for this one on a capped plan which sucks.

im a nokia man my self because i know the S60 system very well and its so easy to use and abuse with the right program so far i have had the 7650 3650 6600 6630 and im going to move on to the N91 (4GB hard drive ) very soon. My partner has had all the Samsung motorola sonys and stuff but ive never got on with them but thats just personal preference

: ok:good choice.i got the Sony Ericson K750i a few months back and its the best phone ive ever had.the K750i is getting old now but its still got the 2 megapixel camera,mp3 player etc etc.the newer versions of it like the one pictured above are the dogs bolloks.at the moment Sony Ericson have the best phones at a reasonable price

these were a craze around christmas time but i heard a lot of poeple say they had a bad signal everywhere and were a bad build quality.plus they are only a 1.3 mp camera compared to the 2 mp camera on the sony ericssons

Just be able you can get NEXTEL and have the 2-way radio service.

Sometimes I don't know how I would survive without the 2-way.
