Seems Brain got the job of drummer with the new GN'R line up because Buckethead wanted his friend (Brain) around the place. Now Buckethead has gone his own ways (ie: left GN'R) does that mean Brain is no longer required or as important as he was.

Brain can play drums without Buckethead, They are not married.
Besides, Buckethead left 2 years ago. He belongs to the past.

I dont think Brain has any real issue with playing in GNR without Bucket. His parts are in CD and as long as he gets paid Brain will be there for GNR.

I think he enjoys GNR very much. He is still very important to the band.
