Personally i think Tommy is the better bassist. Newsted would also catch a lot of shit from GNR fans, he isn't exactly the kind of guy who will rock the boat and some fans will resent it.

IF tommy leaves I think it will be disastreous cause I think this will mean that the release will take 2 steps backwards so that will mean will be like 4 steps backwards to the release and 1 step closer to lunacy.
On the other hand I think that Jhon Deacon will be a good call

100% correct. CD is over if Tommy leaves. I think it could withstand Dizzy, Chris, Richard, and maybe brain leaving. But if Robin or Tommy leaves, we can end all discussion in concern to Chinese Democracy.

Why in the hell would you wish for VR to break up? You think Axl cant 'get in the ring' with ex gunners doing what they love to do?
