That's typical Brasil.

It looks as they can't even beat "low class" teams, and then next thing you know - they are world champions. ?

What really was bad today is Croatia's game.

Bad, very bad. I have a strange feeling we won't even score a single goal on this championship.

But then again - there is still a match with Australia.

We will beat Australia dude? peace peace

I can't wait Cheesy ... but I think it will be Croatia 1 Australia 0

Let's hope you are right? Grin

Losing Robert Kovac will be a problem; he's been their best player.? And it looks like Niko's ribs are still bothering him.?

I was very discouraged by their performance against Japan.? How can you have 12 corners against a short team and not score one goal?? The strikers are terrible... Klasnic has no touch and Prso moves like he shit his pants.

It is going to be a hard game without Robert Kovac on defence, but i'm sure our manager can find somebody to replace him, maybe Stjepan Thomas

It also looks as though Australia will be out Harry Kewell, thanks to his little confrontation with the referees after the game. Not that he ever does anything anyway  Roll Eyes

You've heard it here first, Argentina is gonna be the next world champion? beer

Actually i've said it from the beginning. But good to see that people are with me now Smiley

You also said Spain didn't have a good team but to they've managed to play the best football so far....

I know it's too early to say anything...besides, history shows that the spanish team have a special talent to ruin things for them in the last 16 or the quarters, so I'm not gonna predict anything since it's always a question mark with us. However, So far, I'm yet to see any other better team than Spain. Argentina's played good too up against stronger (in theory) squads, but that's about it.

Hmm. But, as we know, the first two matches mean absoloutely nothing going into the knockout. While I think that Spain have a good chance to go far, I wouldn't worry at all if we came up against you, and I certainly can't see you winning it.

Maybe that's my prejudice towards my Spanish friend comming through there.......

Well, the first two matches mean nothing if you win them both, mean a whole lot more if you lose them both. Every match means something cause it puts in a better position to face the forthcoming matches. Had England or Spain lost any of their matches, we wouldnt be having this conversation.

I don't know what the possible match-ups are in the quaters or semis (I think Spain will play France, S. Korea or the swiss in the last 16) but if we are up against England, I have no doubt that we would play better football. That doesn't really matter afterall if we lose, but so far, England's not playing that well. The match against Paraguay had to be the most boring match of the World cup to date and against T&T although there was some slight improvement, it was against T&T. Tonight's match against Sweden will tell if England has any real chances or not.

I guess we won't be meeting each other then..............

Markus Merk is helping us big  rofl

It's going to be a big loss if Kewell doesn't play, but who cares as long as we score a goal or two we can win it with him playing or not  Grin

Kewell didn't get a ban, so he's available for the next game.

I hate Ambrosi and Guagua, they both suck big time I wonder why, anyway Germany is playing better than Ecuador in every line, we can even make a decent pass to get throught the defense I hope is only cause the changes in the line up cause if we play like this against England or Sweeden we are going home  no

I cannot believe how a defence where every player has Champions League experience can fail to deal with basic set pieces.

Ecuador won't be quaking in their boots.

Damn it. Sweden was great the second half. They should have win.

Germany will not be an easy match, but we can win.
