In case anyone's interested, they are drawing the team groups for next summer's World Cup tonight.

I really hope England do NOT draw in the same group as Brazil. I'm not even sure if this is possible - are England seeded...?? confused

Let's take a guess...

Spain will have Paraguay, Poland & USA

It's great that they made us seeds, but in all honesty we haven't done anything yet. We may have a better FIFA quotient, but we are yet to win a world cup. The question is, will Spain go any further than the quarters this time?

Yeah, they had to qualify by playing play off games against Slovakia.

I don't expect them to go any further than quarter finals.

I hope the Netherlands gets an "easy" group...  Grin

That's a fairly good draw I guess.  Sweden will give us a tough game as always but we should be able to get through it.

Most of the groups only have one very strong team.  I'm looking forward to Holland/Argentina, that should be a cracker!

We have such an easy world cup group - god bless the weak football nations that clog up the world cup and mean its the quater finals before we see anything approaching good football confused

You must be joking. England will play a draw with Sweden, struggle with Paraguay and win over Trinidad & Tobago.

If your to believe all the press about us having even half a chance of winning then a group like that SHOULD be a walk over, fine it probably won't be but it should be.  It could of been much worse, we managed to avoid the likes of Holland thank God....

I don't think England is a favorite. Yes, England won 1 world cup but that was 40 years ago? Since then they've done nothing...Just like Spain. Always get seeded but then lose in the quarters, same as England.

Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike England, as a matter of fact, They have a very solid team this time, but media in our countries puts too much pressure on our teams when there shouldn't be.

Humm, not so strong for us, brazilians. That's cool, but I really hope Croatia isn't as strong as in '98.

I thought we were 2nd seeds, and looking at the odds in the paper we are one of the favoured teams.  Obviously everyone knows deep down Brazil will win...
