I'll just list the ones that I know

1)It's 5 O'clock somwhere - Damn Good
2)Believe In Me - Good
3)Neurotic Outsiders - Good

4)Ain't Life Grand... terrible

Excuse me, but Ain't Life Grand is a great album and clearly the best of the bunch, followed? by 5 O'clock.
I cannot imagine how anyone could not? like ALG.

That's because everyone has different taste in music.

I'm a huge Slash fan and even I think ALG is average. Some of the guitar work is good, but most of the songs are cheesy and as for the vocals and lyrics... confused

The music on ALG is great, but Rod Jackson was a bit over the top.

Exactly... Rod ruined that album for me... He just came off sounding incredibly cheesy... The music was great...

I always liked the first Snakepit record, even though it was uncool at the time to like anything associated with GNR.

Yeah, as Slash said at the time "Snakepit is the alternative to the alternative."

Snakepit first album, Musically has better songs than the gnr albums, It had been great listening Axl sing them, sadly he refused, but  they got an excellent vocalist, Eric Dover.

Neither Can I.

Rod is an amazing singer, but he can't write lyrics.  no

Yeah man, musically those songs just sraight out fucking rocked.... Eric Dover was good but not great, same with the Lyrics.... If Axl sang on there and penned the lyrics, that would have been one hell of a Guns record..

Yes Tomass, I think its also a matter of opinion and everybody's got a different one, but listening Axl  singing, Neither can I, that had been for me a huge hit, cause its not a commercial song, its kind of sad and deep and thats what sometimes Axl used to reflect.

Core

Core isn't a solo album, that's another band altogether.

I think the topic is referring to VR member's solo albums.

I know it's a different band. haha

I thought the topic was about the band members' albums prior to VR. If they were to leave or do projects outside of Velvet Revolver now, then it would be considered solo. But from everyone's posts, I guess not.
