He gave the award to Green Day and said offstage he does these kinds of things for the free suit, Pretty funny.

I wonder what he thinks of INXS' new singer totally rippin off his whole schtick with the way he dances and the megaphone.

Yeah I was flipping through and heard "up ahead, Scott Weiland" so I had perfect timing and luckily didn't have to watch anymore of the show.? Scott is growing some scruff now.? I don't know if I would recognize him with a suit on like he was wearing but he looked in good shape.? He seemed about as out of place as a gay guy at the playboy mansion when he was presenting the award.? They've gotta do away with teleprompters at these shows.

Didn't American Idiot come out in 04?? Don't really understand how they can win 05 too.? And didn't Green Day talk shit about VR a while back?? I can't remember if it was them or another band, but nonetheless Scott seemed pretty buddy buddy with them.? Pretty forgiving from the lead singer of a self-proclaimed "dangerous rock n' roll band".? ?

EDIT: My memory serves correctly, although I guess it wasn't much shit.

All I know is that AudioSlave without Morello wasn't that bad.  He could be the most overrated guitar player ever.  I love that song doesn't remind me and that may be Morello's best solo ever.  So the one time I wanted to hear it, he was gone.  I think he is in Africa.

It was Hoobastank or whatever that dissed Scott Weiland right? Or.. they said "4 of those guys were the coolest ever, and well.. one wasn't"

Alot of people assumed they were refering to Scott

Here's where the thread is about Hoobastank saying 4 out of 5 were cool.  We'll never know who the one is but you'd probably have to assume it to be Scott.  Which I admire Scott for cause atleast he wasn't trying to  suck their dick just cause he was on the road with them.

But it is funny how Scott comes out to the music of Slither at the Big 05 Awards, the same song that Green Day said they need to take pain killers just to get through the song, and then is hugging Green Day like a schoolgirl when they win, even hanging out with them backstage.

I sometimes have trouble understanding the message behind the self-proclaimed "dangerous and unpredictable rock n' roll band" saying of Velvet.  I thought the message wouldn't mean unpredictable in a sense that they go on tour with Hoobastank (totally unpredictable), or that they are friends with these guys after some talk shit (unpredictable again).

None of this would be a big deal if we didn't hear "this is a dangerous rock n' roll band" roll off their tongues every other sentence when they were doing their promo work in the spring of 2004.

That was awesome!  beer  I've seen it twice now.

The comment that Scott made on the suits made me laugh too.
